30 Day 80/10/10 Raw Vegan Challenge - Starting May 29th

Beginning Tuesday, May 29th, I will be embarking on a 30 day 80/10/10 Raw Vegan (811rv, lfrv) challenge.  Prompting this is the ever-nearing tinman triathlon I'm training for coupled with how poorly I ran a half-marathon last Sunday at the National Distance Hall of Fame.  I kept a good pace in the first half, but my legs ended up feeling very heavy by the end and I just couldn't get the leg turnover I was hoping for.

So, I'm going back to 811rv to see if this is part of the whole puzzle.  I feel like it is because of past results, but I'll know better by the end of June.

21 Day Vegan Challenge - Starting March 18, 2012

Beginning Sunday, March 18, we will be committing to eating a 100% vegan diet for 21 days.  Until now, we've eaten 70-80% raw vegan and the rest of our meals stray from there, but are mostly vegetarian.  Ethics aside, there are so many health benefits to living off a vegan diet and we really want to enjoy them.  So, follow us on our journey, share in our love of being happy and healthy, and perhaps join in!
